I'm Elin, this is my story behind Clay my day By Elin .

What started as a hobby a few years ago has now turned into an online business, creating jewelery from polymer clay.

When I bought my first piece of polymer clay back in 2018 I had the ambition to make miniature pastries and flowers for my daughter's newly renovated dollhouse. Little did I know back then where this hobby would lead. I drew inspiration from many quarters, especially in food because my profession is a chef. But there was also a theme that felt special and at the same time obvious to me. Nature's colors and shapes, created into jewelery to be worn and marvel at its simplicity. I want to bring the nature-inspired collections the message that you can always have a piece of nature with you.

In every creating process it's always a challenge in how to make the pieces look as realistic as possible, and within the years I have developed a few tricks.

And of course I couldn't resist to continue making miniature pastries. The soft pastel colors and playful look have always been a self-evident choice especially for kids!
